As for race 2, congratulations to Kyle Busch for his win at California. With that win, he has now won a Cup Series race for 19 consecutive years ! And congratulations to our top 5 this of week 2 !
Back on the business side of things – fees for this year. I think since we only have 20 teams this year, instead of paying out $15 for weekly high scores, we’ll drop it to $10 (this was actually Jeff’s idea) … with this and the website cost, it should come in around $43 per team (last year was $45). If that sounds alright to everyone, I will finalize it and update the ‘2023 Fees & Payment’ page. Here are the invoices for the website cost – 3yr hosting fee (split cost over 2023, 2024 & 2025) and 1 yr domain name fee (invoiced each year).
It looks like Chase Elliott is going to be out indefinitely due to a snowboarding accident . In accordance to our rules , the teams that have selected him will receive 0 points for the next 2 races, and then have the opportunity to select a new driver for the remainder on the segment. At that time, there will be a special link to be able to make that change for those teams affected.
