And we’re off ! Just a couple of notes before the results for week 1.. Thanks to everyone for getting their picks done in plenty of time ! Sorry for the change in available drivers part way through, but it all turned out ok. As you can see from the team chart we have 20 teams this year, with a couple of returning teams and a few that didn’t. Our thanks to all of you that did ! With only 20 teams, still going through some scenarios on the cost / payout structure…. more on that later. Also you will most definitely notice a change in the presentation of the weekly updates as I am taking on that responsibility going forward from Jeff. He will still be the ‘keeper’ of the scoring, etc. – and I am quite glad about that !! I want to thank him for providing us with his colorful weekly updates over all the many years, among everything else he has done in starting and maintaining and operating Manlius Racing League over it’s lifetime ! And yes, this will be forever known as “Jeff’s pool” !!! Thanks Jeff !!
As for the race, congratulations to the newest 1st time Daytona 500 Champion Ricky Stenhouse Jr. ! And congratulations to our top 5 this of week 1 !
