Welcome back ! The 2025 NASCAR season is about to begin. It’s time to make your picks for Segment 1 !! I just have a couple of items as we kick off the season. I think we may be losing 1 team this year, so if you know of anyone that may want to join, send them my way ! I’d also like to get back to paying $10 for the weekly high score instead of $9 . My initial estimate for this years FEE is around $50. That’s if we lose a team and increase the weeks high score payout. Let me know your thoughts on that.
Here is the upcoming racing schedule leading up to the Daytona 500 on February 16th.
As with every year, there’s always a chance that something can go wrong with the database and website as I update things. This year was no exception ! But the things that did go wrong, I quickly learned from. My goal each year is to make the conversion from year to year less ‘painful’ by letting the computer do things instead of me. And it’s working. As with anything, if I were to do it all over again (which I’m not), I would do some things differently. This year I ‘finished’ the web page to setup the drivers list for the year. In previous years, I would have to do the work inside the database by adding the information into each A, B , C , D table … now I just go to the webpage and it’s similar to picking drivers for the segment.
Well, that’s enough of that. I just thought I’d share some of the behind the scenes stuff ! Oh and I still haven’t finished repairing the previous years reports, but I do have a workaround which I described on your Team Page.
