As some of you may or may not know, Denny Hamlin was recently penalized for for violating engine inspection requirements … Although this is for the engine used in the Bristol win back in March, the points loss was not levied against a particular race. Since that doesn’t really follow our scoring theme (and is different than normal) I don’t have a plan yet on how to handle this… or whether to handle it at all since it did not affect any particular race.
