Thanks for getting your picks in for Segment 2 … Only 1 team has not made their picks or requested to make late picks. That would be Queen Bee Racing ( Ken Edick ). He just needs to email me and ask me to set him up so he can make his picks.
With that in mind, I have been working behind the scenes on the website. Some things you may notice, and some things you may not. And during this time (probably now till the end of the season) , there may be times when the site might be down or just seem nuked ! Or it may just look different…. if you notice it for a prolonged time, just send note to the league email address, since I might have accidently made an ‘enhancement’ that may have affected something I didn’t plan on !! One of the first things I did was adding the paid status on your team page… along with being able to present it to you there, I also have an admin page where I can see the paid status for all teams at once. The next thing I worked on was an easier way to allow ‘late picks’ or ‘driver change’ picks … It was never hard to do, just a multi step process of having to go into the database find the unique ID for the team owner, go edit the webpage for making the picks, and add the ID in part of the code that allows the picks to be made. And then after they were made, go take the ID out of the code. Now I can do it with a simple mouse click ! Toggles a Y/N status in the database which allows the submission form to show up just below your current team picks on your team page.
These are just a couple of the many things I’m working on to make maintaining the site a bit easier.. I’ll provide another update in the near future.
